Senior Associate / Special Counsel - Employment Law We are working exclusively with an established national law firm seeking an experienced Senior Associate or Special Counsel to join its growing Employment & Workplace team. The firm has a strong reputation for delivering practical, high-quality commercial legal advice to clients across diverse industries, including health, professional services, insurance and broader business sectors. With incredible growth over the past several years, the Employment team is looking to expand with a senior-level opportunity that will play a pivotal role in this team. Reporting to the Head of Employment & Workplace, this is a great opportunity to work closely with a Partner who is highly experienced in this space with a passion for mentoring and developing their team. This role will be key in advising clients on a broad range of employment and workplace law matters, while also mentoring more junior members of the team. Key Responsibilities Represent clients in employment-related disputes and proceedings. Advise on all aspects of employment and workplace law, including: Employment and contractor agreements, workplace policies and compliance. Performance management, conduct, termination and redundancy. Sexual harassment, bullying and discrimination matters. Workplace surveillance, privacy and record keeping. Legal risk management and workplace investigations. Contribute to business development initiatives and strengthen client relationships. About You A law degree with strong academic results and a current Australian practising certificate. Minimum 5+ years’ experience in employment and workplace relations law. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A proactive, collaborative approach with strong attention to detail and time management. An interest in business development and building lasting client relationships. Why Join This Firm?
