Senior Critical Care Dietitian (Lvl 3) – Temp PT Location: Campbelltown and Camden Hospital, New South Wales, Australia Employment Type: Temporary Part Time, 24 hours per week; up to March 2027 Position Classification: Dietitian Level 3 Remuneration: $116,892 – $120,680 Application Close Date: 07/12/2025 | Interview Date Range: 10/12/2025 – 17/12/2025 Contact: Anita Hokman or Rebecca Phillips – | or About the Opportunity An exciting opportunity exists to join the Dietetics Department at Campbelltown and Camden Hospitals in a new Senior Critical Care Dietitian role. This part‑time specialist position focuses on managing the nutritional needs of patients in Intensive Care and supporting other dietitians in the department. Campbelltown Hospital continues to undergo redevelopment and expansion, including critical care services. The intensive care unit is a 16‑bed unit. What You'll Be Doing This position is responsible for: Providing patient‑centred, high‑quality nutrition services to clients, including nutritional care to patients as per caseload. Providing and participating in education and evaluation. Supervising students and Level 1–2 dietitians as appropriate. Participating in ongoing professional development. Where You'll Be Working Campbelltown and Camden Hospitals, part of the South Western Sydney Local Health District, deliver comprehensive healthcare to the Macarthur region. Campbelltown Hospital, a leading tertiary facility, offers a range of services including cardiology, maternity, palliative care, respiratory medicine, emergency medicine, and aged‑care services. Camden Hospital complements these services by specialising in care for older persons with acute or chronic health conditions, including rehabilitation, palliative, geriatric evaluation, and psychogeriatric care. Postgraduate qualification or Bachelor in Nutrition and Dietetics recognised by the Dietitians Association of Australia. Relevant clinical experience, including experience in critical care, demonstrated advanced practice skills and management of a complex caseload. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, group education skills, and proficient computer skills including CBORD. Experience and knowledge in service development and quality improvement.
