Fixed Plant Operator Maintainer

Due to our meteoric growth, Campbell Transports Geraldton Port facility requires an experienced operator maintainer to oversee the day to day running and maintenance of the plant. We hold a strong reputation for maintaining our late fleet to the highest standards as well as maintaining an excellent safety record. We take pride in our equipment, brand, employees and deliver safe outcomes for our employees and clients. The Deal: Conduct daily fixed plant inspections. Carry out basic maintenance tasks of chutes, scrapers, and vibrating screens. Oversee and assist contractors and external resources that come in. Troubleshoot and work through problems in fixed plant, e.g., belt tracking, chute blockages, breakdowns, etc. Plant clean up – shoveling, scraping, and sweeping where required. Assist with preparing loaders and excavators for operation. Assist with the unloading of road trains. What we need from you: Mechanical fitting trade experience (desired). Fixed plant operating/maintaining experience. Trained for confined space and working at heights. Skid steer/Bobcat experience (desired, not essential). Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word) and willingness to learn the plant operating program. Familiarity with isolation procedures and incident reporting. Fit and able to carry out manual tasks. To be successful in this role you will have previous experience as a leader within the transport and mining industry. You will be a safety‑minded team player with good organization and communication skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet performance targets.
