You will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations and ensuring the delivery of exceptional dining experiences for our customers at Jurien Bay Beach Cafe. This is a full-time position based in Jurien Bay, WA. What you'll be doing Be a valuable part of the kitchen team, including planning, coordinating and supervising all food preparation Be an efficient operator, maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation and service Maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment in compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines Work with a small restaurant team Assist with ordering & procurement Combination of Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner services The ability to work in a team environment and liaise with FOH staff What we're looking for Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role Minimum 2-3 years of chef experience is required Exceptional culinary skills and a passion for creating innovative, flavoursome dishes Strong leadership and people management abilities, with the capacity to motivate and develop a kitchen team Excellent time management and organisational skills to ensure efficient kitchen operations Working knowledge of food safety, hygiene and cost control best practices Able to work calmly under pressure Available to work weekends, public holidays, day shifts and evening shifts Own reliable transport You must have valid working rights in Australia.
