With a mandate to grow its Investor Advisory team and capabilities, Arup requires a motivated individual with proven economic, business case and / or commercial advisory experience gained on major infrastructure projects. The purpose of this role is to support the Investor Advisory offering across the Asia Pacific region, based in Sydney. This role will help shape the future of Arup’s Investor Advisory business and will include project delivery, supporting the winning of work, technical advice, client engagement and development opportunities. You will provide economic and business case and commercial advice on a variety of infrastructure projects across transport, housing, water, energy, maritime and international development. The Opportunity You will provide timely and quality economic and commercial advice to clients, addressing their requirements effectively and drawing on your experience. You will build and maintain trust with clients through consistent, reliable support and by providing strategic insights. You will manage the delivery of economic and commercial analysis, supported by a team of analysts, and also support multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects led by other parts of the business. You will manage or support the wider team in the development of proposals to respond to client requests for our services. Is this role right for you? Recognised relevant tertiary qualifications in economics, commerce, finance or similar relevant area of expertise. Demonstrated knowledge of the infrastructure sector or specialist areas, as evidenced through at least 3-4 years experience in the sector. Ability to uphold high standards in work, meticulously reviewing all aspects to ensure accuracy and completeness. Understanding of “client” needs (both internal and external), and ability to effectively and efficiently manage the issues which may impact project outcomes. Ability to maintain personal effectiveness, manage workload and build team relationships, both under normal circumstances and at times of pressure.
