To be a successful candidate you will need the following skills. Skills and Qualifications Minimum of 4 years experience as a Quality Manager at a mid to senior level, managing a team of Quality delegates, with a thorough understanding of GMP, quality standards and processes. Demonstrated experience managing a team of 3-5 quality delegates with proven leadership capabilities. Proven experience in cosmetic manufacturing and/or food industry; experience in pharmaceutical cGMP is highly regarded. A formal academic background in science/pharmaceutical/food technology is desired and highly regarded. Decisive, confident with the ability to lead quality change throughout the business areas. Liase with customers and stakeholders with a quality focus in mind. Strong leadership qualities. Must hold Australian permanent residency or citizenship to be eligible for this position. Role Responsibilities Create and continuously improve a strong and reliable Quality Assurance department by implementing clearly defined processes, procedures and policies designed to assure the highest quality for all products manufactured at AMK Formulations. As a member of the AMK Formulations Leadership Team, advise the team on changes, issues and improvements relating to both quality and regulatory. Assure compliance with regulatory requirements, customer requirements and ensure product & raw material specifications are met. Manage company's QMS, quality and GMP accreditations, including but not limited to QMS ISO 9001, ISO GMP 22716, ACO (Australian Certified Organic). Be responsible for carrying out internal and external audits in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO GMP 22716. Manage product specifications, product formulations, QC standards and QC testing of raw materials, bulk products and finished goods including microbiology testing with external laboratory. Manage non-conformances and quality investigations for non-conforming products and processes including customer complaints investigations. Perform QC on incoming raw materials/packaging. Perform regulatory checks with NICNAS/TGA/FDA/EU Regulations. Other ad hoc duties that may be required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
