Responsibilities Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of surface and underground infrastructure packages (SMP, civil, electrical, and controls). Provide technical oversight and direction to ensure construction works meet engineering, quality, and safety requirements. Manage contractor performance, including monitoring progress, resolving technical issues, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards. Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, progress reports, and forecasts for assigned packages. Coordinate interfaces between multiple disciplines and contractors to ensure integrated delivery of infrastructure works. Identify and manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies. Support procurement activities including scope development, tender evaluations, and contract administration. Provide leadership in fostering a strong safety culture and ensuring adherence to HSE requirements. Engage with site operations, commissioning teams, and other stakeholders to enable smooth handover of infrastructure. Mentor and support junior engineers in technical and project delivery aspects. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline). 8+ years' experience in project engineering roles, with demonstrated delivery of multidisciplinary infrastructure packages in mining or heavy industry. Strong understanding of SMP, civil, electrical, and controls construction methodologies and standards. Proven experience in managing contractors and delivering complex site-based works. Excellent planning, scheduling, and progress reporting skills. Sound knowledge of project risk management and contract administration. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of project delivery.
