The Role:As Branch Manager you will manage the service/distribution and operations ensuring it functions effectively and efficiently to maximise profitability while maintaining the highest level of service.Managing and overseeing the Apex brand at a Gold Coast Airport, you will make sure customer satisfaction, fleet utilisation and profit generation are paramount by exercising independent judgement around our day-to-day operations and activities.All service provision and duties will be completed in accordance with established operation procedures and company policies.You will be responsible for managing and leading staff, this will include employee morale, performance, coaching, development, and performance management. Although you will have clear authority within the role, you will also have the judgment and maturity to gain support and approval from a higher level when that is required.Key ResponsibilitiesEffectively manage the fleet levels and employee rostering to meet customer demandsPrint, action and monitor reports / financial plans and contribute to the development of the annual business plan for our Mackay locationContinually compare location performance against the strategic plan, and implement necessary contingency measures to ensure targets are achievedMonitor the level of customer service being delivered and continually identify and implement strategies to increase customer satisfactionCreate and foster a supporting team environmentIdentify and continually monitor employee needs and implement actions to increase employee satisfaction, retention and attractionManage the performance of employees as neededTo be successful in this role:Pervious leadership or managerial experience and developed skills in leading and developing teamsThe ability to provide coaching and feedback to our employeesBusiness acumen and the ability to read and understand business-related financial reportsThe ability to use your initiative and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyConflict resolution skillsExperience in complaints handling, conflict resolution and negotiation.Excellent computer proficiency especially with MS OfficeThe ability to maximise performance of the teamKnowledge of relevant industrial relations legislationStrong communication skillsBenefits and PerksCompetitive Salary + Performance Bonus + Company CarEmployee discounts on
