Role Overview We are looking for a health & wellbeing enthusiast Someone who has an infectious passion for health and wellness and brings the magic and rockstar energy, everyday – is that you? We aren’t just looking for someone who ticks the boxes and meets the education and experience criteria. We want an amazing human – a rare and unique talent who oozes passion and absolutely loves helping others take charge of their health and wellness to join the team at Loftus 24/7 Gym & Recreation Centre as their new Health Club Coordinator. Responsibilities Be the epicentre of the health club and ensure its smooth operation Develop and implement strategies to increase member visitations Interact with members and provide excellent customer service Plan and promote health club events and programs Train and supervise health club and front‑of‑house staff Ensure the health club is clean and well‑maintained The key role for this position is to deliver a range of high‑quality, appropriate and desirable health and fitness programs for the members and the local community, which includes Coaching Zone and Group Fitness. You will be excited to be spending most of your time on the gym floor and coaching our members, not stuck in an office or behind a desk Skills and Experience Certificate IV in Fitness or higher Good knowledge of health club protocols and customer expectations Experience in managing conflict resolution and delivery of high level customer service Experience in leading a team, managing rosters and employee relations as required CPR Certificate Working With Children Check Computer literacy, familiarity with software packages and point‑of‑sale systems Fitness Australia (or equivalent) registration National Criminal Records Check The Company Belgravia Leisure is part of the Belgravia Health and Leisure Group (BHLG) and is the fastest‑growing leisure organisation in Australia.
