About the role We are seeking an experienced Barista/FOH Supervisor to join our team at Evoke Bakery. This is a Full Time or Casual role with the opportunity to work in a vibrant café environment. As the Barista/FOH Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while overseeing the daily operations of the front‑of‑house team and supporting the Customer Service Manager. What you’ll be doing Prepare and serve high‑quality coffee and beverages to customers. Supervise and train the front‑of‑house team to ensure efficient and friendly customer service. Manage the daily operations of the front‑of‑house, including opening/closing procedures, cash management, and stock control. Ensure the café maintains a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers and staff. Provide feedback and support to the front‑of‑house team to help them develop their skills. Assist with other duties as required to support the smooth running of the café. What we’re looking for Experience as a barista, with a strong understanding of coffee preparation and service. Proven experience in a supervisory or team‑leader role within the hospitality industry. Excellent customer service skills and a passion for providing an exceptional dining experience. Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities to efficiently manage daily operations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and motivate the team. Flexible and adaptable to work in a fast‑paced environment. Experience in opening and closing a small food‑service venue. Availability on weekends and public holidays.
