What you'll be doing As the Nurse Unit Manager, you’ll oversee clinical coordination, workforce leadership and operational performance to ensure exceptional care delivery within the Community Dialysis Centre. You will guide nursing practice, drive quality improvement and manage resources to meet service needs and organisational standards. Leading and coordinate patient care delivery across the unit to ensure safe, efficient practice. Managing human, financial and physical resources to deliver high-quality dialysis services. Fostering a positive, high‑performance culture through coaching, feedback and team development. Driving quality improvement, patient safety initiatives and compliance with NSW Health policy. Maintaining a safe environment by proactively managing risks and supporting safety systems. Essential Criteria Current Nursing Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Selection Criteria Demonstrated relevant clinical nursing experience with postgraduate nursing qualifications in specialty or working towards same. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and engage with patients/consumers, carers and the multi‑disciplinary team to identify and ensure responsiveness of care needs. Proven ability to ensure the human, physical and financial resources of the unit are managed to provide safe, compassionate, quality care that is culturally sensitive. Demonstrated capacity to interact with others in a personable and professional manner and manage conflicts and performance issues when they arise. Demonstrated understanding and participation in risk management, work health and safety and quality improvement in the workplace.
