We are looking for a Data Engineer with hands‑on experience with Databricks to help with a short‑term piece of work. This is a delivery‑focused contract for someone who can work independently and drive data solutions end‑to‑end. You will need to be immediately available to start in the second week of January, for an initial 3 month contract. Responsibilities Designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines using Databricks, PySpark, and Spark SQL Ensuring data quality, integrity, and performance across data workflows Collaborating with data and analytics teams to support business needs Troubleshooting and optimising pipelines for scalability and efficiency Documenting technical processes and architecture decisions Skills and Qualifications Proven experience as a Data Engineer with hands‑on Databricks experience Strong PySpark and Spark SQL skills Experience with cloud platforms, either Azure or AWS Solid understanding of data modelling, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing concepts Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced delivery environment This is a 3 month contract with possibility of extension based on the team's ongoing project pipeline. #J-18808-Ljbffr
