At Transgrid, we play a critical role in delivering the infrastructure that powers NSW, including the delivery of HumeLink one of the state’s most significant transmission infrastructure projects. Our Health, Safety and Environment team is central to how we protect our people, our partners, and the communities along the HumeLink corridor. Operating across a complex, multi-package project environment and joint venture delivery models, we are committed to using insight, evidence, and collaboration to strengthen safety outcomes and proactively manage risk across the project lifecycle. About the Role This role sits at the heart of the Health and Safety function and is an influential position within the team, responsible for synthesising information from Transgrid systems, joint venture partner systems, and on-site assurance activities to identify emerging risks and inform strategic safety focus areas. This is not an administrative reporting role; it is an intelligence-driven position that connects data with on-site reality, interpreting what the information is telling us and translating insight into meaningful narratives that support leaders to focus effort where it matters most. The outputs of this role shape decision-making, influence strategy, and help ensure emerging risks are identified and managed early across complex delivery environments. Position can be located in either Wagga Wagga, Yass or Golburn. About You Naturally information-driven and curious, with the ability to interpret data and understand what it means in real-world, operational and site-based environments Demonstrated experience using data and assurance outcomes to identify, assess, and manage emerging health and safety risks Proven ability to synthesise information from multiple systems, joint venture partners, and assurance activities into clear, practical insights Strong communication skills with the confidence to tell the story behind the numbers and influence leaders and project teams Experience working within complex, site-based or major project environments, with the ability to collaborate effectively with delivery partners and stakeholders. Reward and Recognition We believe in providing our people with personal, professional, and social benefits so they can deliver their best work each and every day. Employees have access to a range of corporate discounts across retail, utilities, travel, and health and wellbeing, as well as novated leasing options, workplace flexibility, 20 weeks of paid parental leave, and more. Regardless of where you are in your professional journey, Transgrid powers your career by providing access to regular and ongoing training, workplace mentoring, and tertiary education. At Transgrid, you are encouraged to build a career that’s right for you. Our Values Transgrid’s core values encompass safety, achievement, integrity, and service. Prioritising safety above all, the company emphasises making a meaningful impact through achievement, upholding honesty through integrity, and delivering exceptional outcomes for customers and communities through dedicated service. These values are ingrained in the actions and behaviours of Transgrid’s people, who embody them every day. Our Leadership Principles At Transgrid, our Leadership Principles Courage, Care, Clarity, and Connection form the foundation of how we lead. Courage means embracing challenges and doing what’s right. Care focuses on leading with heart, valuing people as the core of our organisation. Clarity ensures teams understand success and their impact, while Connection links individuals to our purpose and strategy while fostering strong relationships among team members, customers, and partners. Applications close on 2 January 2026. Please note vacancy close dates may be subject to change. We will assess applications as they are received. #J-18808-Ljbffr
