About the Role We are seeking an experienced Workplace Health, Safety, and Environment (WHSE) Coordinator to join our team at Greystanes, focusing on our converting and warehousing operations. The successful candidate will assist in the implementation and maintenance of WHSE standards, ensuring legal compliance with health, safety, and environmental legislative requirements. A day in the life … Workplace Health, Safety & Environment Coordinator As a WHSE Coordinator, you will have a broad range of responsibilities aimed at achieving regulatory compliance, risk reduction, and continuous improvement in workplace safety and environment. Your duties will include: Organizing and conducting training programs on First Aid, Lockout/Tagout, and High-Risk Permits Undertaking risk assessments and amending WHSE documentation Conducting site inspections and audits Managing internal and external audits, ensuring high-risk projects are completed safely, even during abnormal hours Supporting site compliance with ISO 45001 and SEDEX audit results Coordinating compliance training and maintaining documentation for standard operating procedures (SOPs) Supporting contractor management, including inductions and Job Safety Assessments (JSAs) Investigating hazards and incidents, with a focus on prevention What will make you successful Education: Certificate IV in OHS or higher Experience: Minimum of 3 years in an HSE role within a manufacturing and logistics environment Knowledge: Familiarity with ISO 45001 and OHS auditing desirable; sound understanding of NSW WHS legislative requirements and basic knowledge of WorkCover and Return to Work processes Skills: Highly developed influencing, presentation, and communication abilities Strong multitasking and task management capabilities Excellent written and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with key stakeholders Sound analytical and problem-solving skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint What's in it … for you?
