THE ROLE Reporting to the Business Process Manager, we are looking for a motivated and experienced safety and quality professional. The Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ) Systems Coordinator is responsible for developing, maintaining and continuously improving HSEQ management systems nationally. This role manages safety compliance and risk management across office and field operations, driving continuous improvement and supporting the organisation’s quality deliverables. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Safety Oversee and manage safety compliance and risk management across office and field operations. Drive continuous improvement in safety and environmental performance ensuring compliance with current legislative requirements. Maintain and update the Safety Dashboard, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of metrics. Coordinate and manage incident reporting, investigation, and corrective actions tracking. Plan and coordinate internal safety inspections and external safety audits, monitor close‑out of findings. Lead communication of safety alerts, procedure updates, and audit outcomes across the business. Support delivery of safety inductions, toolbox talks and training programs. Quality & Compliance Support maintenance of ISO 17025 and NATA accreditation. Assist in quality investigations. Develop, review, and improve templates to streamline processes. Assist in implementing new or revised procedures. Collaborate with teams to ensure consistency, continual improvement and alignment with company’s policies and regulatory requirements. ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE For candidates to be considered, they must have: A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Safety/Quality systems and compliance, auditing, or a related field. 4+ years of related experience. General knowledge of Work Health and Safety (WHS) relevant laws, acts and regulations and Code of Practice. Strong knowledge of Quality & Safety system fundamentals such as ISO 45001 and ISO/IEC 17025. General understanding of environmental methodologies. YOU MUST ALSO HAVE Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Influencing and negotiating skills. Well‑developed problem‑solving skills and strong attention to detail. Technical writing skills. Continuous improvement mindset and applies it regularly. It is essential that candidates are willing to expand their knowledge of environmental testing and keep abreast of new trends and regulations in the industry.
