Responsibilities Complete daily forklift safety checklist. Act as spotter to keep people out of the fall‑danger zone. Operate electric forklift and electric pallet jack to move pallets of merchandise. Change out forklift batteries and hook batteries up to the battery charger. Transfer merchandise from the receiving area to the steel shelves and bulk wall for storage, or directly to the sales floor. Move pallets of merchandise from the steel shelving and the bulk wall to the sales area based on written list, verbal instruction, and observation of low stock. Stack product from partial pallets onto full pallets. Remove empty pallets from the sales floor and rotate stock as necessary. Communicate with floor managers to set priorities and determine product placement. Wrap pallets in plastic film with a product tag prior to placement on steel shelves. Assist with stocking and clear sales floor debris. Observe and ensure correct product signage; mark unmarked product with item number using marking gun. Act as cashier on front‑end after opening. Provide prompt and courteous member service, help members load large items in their cart and auto, direct members to products, and convey product status knowledge. Non‑Essential Functions and Tasks Assist with front‑end duties as necessary. Assist in other departments of the warehouse as necessary. Create computer‑generated signs.
