Job Description: Product Manager- Debit Cards Location: Sydney Duration: 12 months (220 days capped)Start Date: ASAPRole Overview As a Product Manager in the Debit Card Program, you will lead the end-to-end strategy, development, and execution of debit card initiatives. This role is pivotal in shaping a compelling and competitive debit card offering that meets customer needs, drives business growth, and aligns with regulatory and market dynamics. You will collaborate across internal squads and external partners to deliver innovative solutions, optimise performance, and ensure seamless delivery across the product lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Deliver product management across the debit card portfolio, including roadmap development and execution. Contribute to strategic planning and manage cross-squad dependencies to ensure timely delivery of initiatives. Conduct market research and analytics to identify trends, customer breakpoints, and regulatory shifts. Continuously improve the customer experience by enhancing features, benefits, and digital journeys. Deploy Mastercard products and services to enhance performance and customer value. Proactively manage risks through regular controls, issue identification, escalation, and remediation. Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and scheme requirements. Collaborate across Product, Technology, Legal, Compliance, and Operations teams. Engage with external partners including fintechs and payment networks to drive innovation. Monitor product performance, KPIs, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement. Prepare documentation, reporting packs, and updates for leadership and steering committees. Skills & Experience Must-Have Strong product knowledge in cards, with proven experience managing banking products. Strategic thinking and ability to execute initiatives at pace that drive measurable business value. Experience in Agile delivery environments with a track record of strong outcomes. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to use data and insights to inform decisions. Risk mindset proactively identifying, discussing, and acting on current and future risks. Nice-to-Have Experience working with fintechs, payment networks, or external partners in the debit card ecosystem. Familiarity with Mastercard product suite and services. Exposure to steering committees and executive-level reporting. Understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements impacting debit card programs. #J-18808-Ljbffr
