Senior Product Manager Location: Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Start Date: ASAP We are partnering with a leading Australian bank to hire a Senior Product Manager who will drive strategy, roadmap development, and delivery for core Everyday Banking products. This includes transaction accounts, debit cards, and other essential retail banking offerings. Key Responsibilities Product Strategy and Roadmap: Develop and execute product strategies for everyday banking products with strong emphasis on retention and lifecycle management. Product Delivery: Lead the delivery of product enhancements and initiatives that align with business objectives and regulatory requirements. Customer Retention and Engagement: Create strategies to improve customer retention and engagement for transaction accounts and card products. Data Driven Decision Making: Partner with analytics teams to gather insights, define scope, and monitor performance metrics related to retention and product usage. Market and Competitor Analysis: Monitor customer trends, regulatory updates, and competitor offerings to inform product positioning and innovation. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work across teams including risk, operations, digital, and customer experience to deliver seamless product enhancements. Regulatory and Risk Compliance: Ensure all product changes and strategies comply with relevant banking regulations and internal risk frameworks. Your Background Experience: 7+ years in banking product management, with a focus on transaction accounts, debit cards, and customer retention strategies. Knowledge: Deep understanding of everyday banking products, customer lifecycle management, and financial services regulations. Skills: Proven experience in strategy development, roadmap execution, and product delivery. Skills: Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to collaborate across business units. Skills: Data-driven mindset, with experience using analytics to drive product and retention strategies. Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
