Senior Product Manager

The Senior Product Manager will drive the management of Genetic Signatures’ product portfolio across the entire product lifecycle. Genetic Signatures improves patient care and outcomes by developing innovative diagnostic technologies which simplify molecular pathology. We are an Australian based manufacturer providing diagnostic solutions into leading pathology laboratories in Australia and worldwide. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our supportive and talented team who share a passion to discover the unknown, enable our customers to diagnose with precision, ultimately supporting confident treatment and improved health outcomes for patients. Reporting to the Head of Global Marketing and Product Strategy, the Senior Product Manager will drive the management of Genetic Signatures’ product portfolio across the entire product lifecycle. In this role you will be responsible for: Product Strategy and Product Lifecycle Management Develop and execute global product strategies, owning the full product lifecycle – from new product development, product enhancements, to sunset planning and execution. Lead market intelligence efforts by monitoring industry trends, conducting competitive analysis, and gathering voice-of-customer research to inform product development and positioning. Authoring early business cases to support strategic investment decisions for product development. Translate customer and market needs into clear, actionable product requirements to build and maintain a robust product development pipeline. Management of the global product list and pricing matrix. Collaborate with sales, operations and manufacturing teams to forecast product demand, supporting accurate production planning and inventory management. Commercial Leadership and Stakeholder Engagement Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop and execute multi-channel go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and promotional campaigns. Support product launches through training, development of marketing collateral, and performance tracking to ensure successful market adoption. Plan, coordinate, and participate in product launches, workshops, webinars, industry events, and conferences to drive awareness and engagement. Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), clinical stakeholders, and relevant industry groups to support product advocacy and market insight. Cross-functional Collaboration Work closely with R&D, regulatory, marketing, sales, project management, and operations teams to ensure product development aligns with market needs and compliance requirements. Adhere closely to stage-gate processes for product development and management and ensure timely execution of all deliverables. Provide product management support for clinical trials and studies as needed. To be successful as our Senior Product Manager you will possess talent in: Analysis and problem-solving Excellent verbal and written communication Strong attention to detail Project and time management Negotiation and collaboration Presenting technology in a commercial context while understanding scientific concepts Product portfolio management and marketing Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Experience in: A product management role (5 years minimum) within life sciences, pharma or healthcare industry. Launching products to international markets Working with global teams and audiences Molecular diagnostics or infectious diseases is highly advantageous Marketing and / or sales Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a health-related / scientific field (microbiology / molecular biology preferred). An MBA, or advanced degree in business/marketing is advantageous (suitable extensive strategic experience is also considered).
