We are currently looking for Qualified Bakers and Production Operators to join us at our Forestville site . The overall purpose of this position is to prepare dough's, assist with weigh up, run the divider, oven, and proofer and run and set up the plant in accordance with Goodman Fielder policies and procedures. Reporting into the Production Team Manager, you will work as part of the production team to ensure that our bread products are produced in a safe, timely and cost effective manner that meets quality and food safety standards. Shift one: Qualified Baker Monday 11.15am -8.45pm, Thursday 1.00am - 10.30am, Friday 1.00am - 11.30am, Saturday 5.00am - 3.30pm Shift two: Production Operator Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 7.30am - 2.00pm, Thursday and Friday 7.30am - 6.00pm Shift three: Production Operator Monday to Thursday 4.00am to 12.00pm and Friday 4.00am to 12.30pm Shift four: Qualified Baker:Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 6.00am to 12.30pm andThursday and Friday 6.00am to 4.30pm Responsibilities include: Safely operating bread manufacturing equipment Correctly preparing ingredients according to specified formulas Adhering to food safety procedures and company policies Reporting all injuries and hazards to your supervisors Maintaining a clean and tidy work area Ensuring machines run in an efficient and uninterrupted manner Maintaining production waste within acceptable amounts Meeting deadlines in a busy work environment Keeping timely and accurate records of work activity The successful candidate will possess the following skills and abilities: Preferred experience working as a qualified Baker Availability to work on a rotating roster including weekends and overtime when required Willingness to participate in training when required Ability to work in a team environment Knowledge of workplace and food safety A positive work attitude and professional manner Demonstrate a high degree of accuracy What can we offer you?
