The strategy team works with a broad range of communications and marketing specialists to help clients create impactful actions for their brands and organisations.ResponsibilitiesWorking with the Edelman Australia head of strategy and client leads to:Create better diagnoses of client business problemsGenerate insights and cultural tensions that lead to novel solutions for clients that are centered in actionPartner effectively with multiple specialists as an integrated team across creative, research, public policy, branding, media, communications, and moreWrite Action Briefs that lead to work that produces genuine impact for clientsHelp with measurement frameworks in partnership with DxI our in-house research unitAssist the Head of Strategy in driving the culture and reputation of strategy within EdelmanKey Requirements4-6 years of experience in a marketing, creative, communications, media, or similar agency, or related client-side roleEndlessly curious about business, the world, brands, and consumers in any formBias for action – a brief maker more than a brief taker, able to figure out what the ‘bigger problem’ instead of waiting for instructionsProven experience in channel agnostic creative campaign development working closely with creative teams to deliver on client objectives.Excellent research skills, comfortable with data, desk research, and using that to to insights and cultural tensions.Create compelling client presentations to sell in strategic and creative thinking that solves for our clients’ problems.Experience in being an instrumental team member in new business pitches well regarded.Edelman is a global communications firm that partners with businesses and organizations to evolve, promote and protect their brands and reputations.
