What You’ll Be Doing Deliver comprehensive emergency medical care in a high-performing team Mentor and supervise junior doctors and clinical staff Contribute to training programs and continuous quality improvement Participate in an on-call roster and department meetings Play a key role in ensuring safe, efficient, and evidence-based practices What We’re Looking For Specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia in Emergency Medicine Recent clinical experience relevant to a tertiary emergency setting Strong communication and leadership skills A commitment to teaching, education, and patient safety Availability to respond on‑site for on‑call duties Alignment with NSW Health CORE values: Collaboration, Openness, Respect, Empowerment Located in the heart of the Riverina, Wagga Wagga offers an ideal blend of city convenience and country charm. Selection Criteria Holds Specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia in Emergency Medicine Demonstrated recent clinical experience in Emergency Medicine at the role delineation of the service. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership of a team. Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, research and quality improvement. Availability to participate in an on-call roster and to respond on site within a reasonable time. Demonstrated commitment to behaviours which align to the NSW Health CORE values and MLHD Values, goals and strategies.
