ABOUT THE ROLE The People & Culture Manager is responsible for ensuring that Ngala has the workforce capability to achieve its strategic and business goals. Inspiring, nurturing and guiding a high performing team, this role sets the strategic direction and leads the operational delivery of human resources and workforce development. Pivotal to this role is the ability to cultivate a thriving, inclusive and future-focused workforce by embedding systems, policies, processes and practices that support strong governance, innovation and a culture of care. As a senior leader the People & Culture Manager influences other leaders, supports organisational transformation and ensures compliance with legislation and regulations while fostering a workplace where people feel valued, supported and empowered to succeed. The People & Culture Manager oversees a number of areas, including: Employee Relations Attraction and Retention P&C compliance Payroll Services Learning and Development Volunteer and Student placement and engagement DUTIES Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: People Strategy and Workforce Planning Culture Engagement and Organisational Development Capability, Talent and Leadership Industrial Relations and Workforce Compliance People Operations and Systems ABOUT YOU The successful applicant will: Have a tertiary level qualification in Human Resources Management / Industrial Relations and / or relevant discipline. Demonstrated experience in the management of an end‑to‑end service provision of the human resources function within a multidisciplinary organisation. Proven capacity to operate both strategically and operationally in the areas of Recruitment, Learning & Development, Remuneration, Employee Relations and contemporary People practices. In‑depth understanding of Australian employment law, industrial relations, WHS and diversity legislation. Highly developed interpersonal skills which positively build effective working relationships, drive engagement, motivate staff and influence change. Role Requirements Able to work across other Ngala sites as required. Possession of a current National Police Certificate (obtained within the last 6 months). Possession of current WA drivers licence.
