We have a diverse workforce delivering modern hot water, steam and furnace engineering solutions and services to industrial and commercial businesses across Australia. We provide Solution and Energy Efficiency Consulting, System Design, and Project Management covering EPC as well as maintenance across all elements of steam and hot water infrastructure. We also deliver specialist industry training to upskill operators and technicians in organisations that have boiler solutions. The Job The Technical Advisor – Industrial Energy plays a pivotal role in elevating industrial safety, reliability, and performance across our national client base. This position sits at the intersection of technical fieldwork, client advisory, and professional training delivery. You will report to the General Manager – RTO / Centre of Excellence and collaborate closely with leaders across Operations, Engineering, Compliance, and Training. In this role, you will support clients to optimise their boiler, burner, and process‑heating systems—helping them achieve safer, more efficient, and environmentally aligned operations that support business performance and industry transition. You will work closely with colleagues in Field Service, Engineering, Training & Assessment, and Energy Systems Advisory to: Deliver structured advisory and technical support across industrial energy systems Conduct site‑based diagnostics, reliability assessments, and compliance‑aligned inspections Facilitate accredited and non‑accredited training and assessment for operators and technicians Prepare clear technical reports, recommendations, and guidance materials Support development of industry‑leading reliability frameworks and training programs Build strong, trust‑based client relationships through professionalism and technical excellence About You You are a technically capable and confident industrial professional with a passion for reliability, safety, and knowledge sharing. You enjoy working hands‑on in the field, supporting operators and clients, and contributing to a culture of excellence within the industrial energy sector. You operate with integrity, clarity, and a methodical approach, and you are comfortable balancing technical delivery, client interaction, and training responsibilities. What You Bring Advanced Boiler Operator Licence (Standard & Advanced) Type B Gas Fitter / Certifier Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent), or willingness to obtain Demonstrated experience with industrial steam, combustion, or process‑heat systems Strong diagnostic and analytical capability, with a safety and compliance mindset Ability to engage confidently with clients and operators at different skill levels Clear written and verbal communication skills, including structured reporting Experience with digital diagnostics, IoT condition monitoring, or reliability systems Exposure to ISO or Australian Standards compliance frameworks Why This Role Matters This role sits at the frontline of industrial energy reliability and workforce capability development.
