The Role We are looking for a community-minded and motivated Administration Assistant who has exceptional interpersonal skills to join our Connected Community School team. This is a unique opportunity to support established school programs and partnership initiatives. The successful applicant will be part of a team implementing a locally led, culturally safe and inclusive whole‑school approach that strengthens supports to meet the needs and aspirations of our students and their families. As the Administration Assistant, you will be responsible for: Managing phone and email correspondence and general enquiries Providing research and reporting updates Preparing and distributing meeting agendas and minutes Administering financial resources including account coding, reconciliations, invoice processing and acquittals Ensuring departmental policies and guidelines are adhered to Preparing school materials for publication and distribution while supporting the development and management of the trial’s marketing plan Equity and Diversity We are committed to an inclusive and culturally responsive workforce reflecting the diversity in our schools and the Western Australian community. Demonstrated experience in providing effective administrative support, including diary management. Demonstrated good keyboarding and computer skills, including knowledge of databases, spreadsheets and word processing. Demonstrated good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to liaise with individuals at all levels and build and maintain effective working relationships. Demonstrated initiative and good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet conflicting deadlines. It is recommended you have your attachments ready before selecting Apply for Job.
