Civil Maintenance Labourer

Pay & Hours: $71,020 pa (includes industry allowance and uniform allowance) + 12% super (level 3) 76 hour fortnight 9 day fortnight Join our Roads and Drains team as a Labourer and play a vital role in maintaining the community's civil and transport infrastructure. Working closely with a crew leader, you will be at the forefront of maintaining Council's valuable assets. Your primary responsibility is to ensure your designated area remains safe, tidy and defect‑free. installing and replacing road signs pathways, kerb and channel repairs replacing manholes conducting fence repairs replacing lintels and grates repairing headwalls fixing traffic island defects Your work will directly contribute to the upkeep of our civil and transport infrastructure, making a tangible difference in our community's safety and appearance. This hands‑on role offers variety and the satisfaction of seeing immediate results. Join our team and help keep our city running smoothly Ideally you will have recent experience performing labouring tasks related to maintaining infrastructure similar to that listed above. We are seeking applicants who demonstrate: knowledge and physical capability to perform manual tasks safely recent experience in a manual position experience maintaining similar infrastructure / performing similar tasks excellent communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset In addition to these skills and experience, successful candidates must possess: Current truck licence (minimum MR – medium rigid) Construction Induction Card Why City of Moreton Bay?
