Diploma or Experienced Cert III Educator Auburn South Preschool (ASPS) is a beautiful stand‑alone community‑based kindergarten, situated alongside Anderson Park in the leafy Melbourne suburb of Hawthorn East. Auburn South Preschool is dedicated to providing a safe, healthy and welcoming learning environment for all children, families and early childhood professionals. With an experienced and talented educating team the preschool prides itself on providing a high‑quality standard of education and care through sessional kindergarten programs. We are committed to providing a child safe environment and we recognise the important role that educators play in protecting and advocating for children’s wellbeing. The new team member should have excellent interpersonal skills to allow them to engage with the children and their families, work colleagues and the Committee of Management. They will confidently engage in and actively contribute to the development of our high‑quality educational programs and our service. They will conduct themselves in a professional manner, have a sound understanding of the Victorian Early Years Learning & Development Framework and the National Quality Framework, and be able to work collaboratively in a team environment. Auburn South Preschool is committed to creating an environment where the safety, wellbeing, and participation of all children and young people is paramount. Additional focus is given to vulnerable children, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and children from culturally and/or linguistically diverse backgrounds, as well as children with a disability. We have zero tolerance of child abuse. All staff must commit to a culture that supports and embraces Child Safe Standards and adhere to our Code of Conduct.
