The Opportunity We are currently seeking a highly capable Senior Scheduling Engineer to join our Underground Mining team at our Sunrise Dam Gold Mine. Reporting to the Technical Services Superintendent, this key position supports the wider Mine Technical Services along with the Underground Operations team and includes overseeing a team of Scheduling Engineers. Site‑based role on an 8/5 and 4/4 FIFO roster, where we offer a quick commute and direct flights to our site from Perth and/or Kalgoorlie. As a Senior Scheduling Engineer at Sunrise Dam, you will cross‑collaborate with other disciplines, understand the complexities of underground, and be across 'who does what' to ensure successful outcomes in your contribution. Accountabilities Oversee the delivery of underground mining schedules across planning and operational horizons to achieve the business plan. Be adept with budgeting processes to ensure production targets are met while maintaining operational safety and efficiency. Lead medium‑term planning alignment with both short‑term planning and Life of Mine (LOM) planning. Lead planning of underground infrastructure and relevant projects. Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering their technical and professional development. Enjoy upholding and working to our 6 core values at all times. About You A willingness to mentor and be part of a diverse team comprising technical and operational members. Solid and impactful communication and written skills. Competence in Deswik CAD and Scheduler is essential. Confidence to provide input, solutions, ideas and planning. Enthusiastic attitude towards fulfilling key accountabilities. A solid understanding of underground mining operations is essential. C Class Driver's License. Full permanent working rights. Qualifications and Requirements Bachelor of Mining Engineering Degree.
