As Principal Hydraulic Engineer, you will take responsibility for guiding the design and coordination of hydraulic services across multiple project types. The role involves providing senior‑level technical input, managing project timelines and quality, and ensuring all work aligns with relevant codes and best practices. You will also play a key role in developing junior team members and contributing to overall project strategy. Duties. Provide technical expertise throughout a project’s lifecycle Prepare detailed engineering reports, documentation, and presentations for stakeholders Design, analyse, and optimise hydraulic systems, components, and equipment to meet project requirements Conduct site investigations Play an active role in business development Train, mentor and guide Junior Hydraulic Engineers Skills & Experience. End to end design and calculations for Hydraulics Building Services Exposure to Fire Services is beneficial Proven experience within a management role Established local experience within Australia Liaising with key stakeholders Culture.
