Content Lead (Organic & Editorial) Location: AUS or Remote (AUS-friendly time zones preferred) Type: Full-time About Relume We’re fast scaling startup based in Sydney with over 1 million+ signups and a team of 26 high performing, talented individuals. As we grow, we need someone who can turn multiple moving parts and projects into one aligned, high‑velocity machine. We’re building an AI-powered platform that helps web designers plan, build, and publish websites 10× faster, without sacrificing craft. In a world racing to replace creatives with AI, we believe designers deserve tools that amplify their value, not replace it. The Opportunity Relume’s content engine is already humming—consistent reach across social, a growing creator program, performant ad creative, and strong product‑education foundations. We’re hiring a Content Lead to scale what’s working, make it cohesive across channels, sharpen the narrative that ties it all together, and experiment with new initiatives. You’ll inherit functioning programs and a backlog of proven formats; your job is to systemise them, raise the creative bar, and compound results week over week. You’ll be across all content: organic channels, creator collaborations, paid social/ad creative, and product education. Scale the system while raising quality, run the editorial calendar, direct the creative, and measure what moves the needle. What You’ll Do Own the Story System. Build a deep understanding of our users—their pains, language, and mental models. Turn that into a clear, evolving narrative around Relume’s mission and products. Keep the Story Consistent. Ensure message and tone are coherent across product, content, and community. Create and maintain a voice & style guide and distinctive brand assets. Lead Creative Direction. Set the bar for visuals, copy, and motion. Make Relume feel cohesive, inspiring, and distinct. Run the Editorial Machine. Plan and maintain the content roadmap and weekly shipping cadence across channels (YouTube/Shorts, TikTok, LinkedIn/X, email/newsletter, blog/docs, community). Scale Organic Content. Develop repeatable, high‑impact formats (series, tutorials, teardown reels, mini‑tools explainers) and scale what works. Drive Creator/UGC Programs. Source, brief, and manage creators—set creative strategy, feedback loops, and performance targets for UGC and partnerships. Own Product Education. Partner with Product/Design to build guides, lessons, templates, release notes, and in‑product education that reduce time‑to‑value. Level‑up Ad Creative. Translate winning organic narratives into paid social concepts; run creative testing sprints with clear learning agendas. Build Content Ops. Create briefs, checklists, QA, and versioning. Recruit and manage a flexible bench of writers, editors, designers, and motion specialists. Ship a pragmatic Content Strategy v1.1 : a synthesis deck of “what works” with rules of thumb, decision trees, and voice/visual guardrails. Maintain or lift current shipping cadence (≥ baseline) with tighter QA and fewer revisions. Scale two lighthouse formats (e.g., tutorials + narrative short‑form) to 2× output without drops in watch time/CTR. Creator program operationalized : brief library + feedback rubric live; 5–10 creators shipping weekly. Cohesion playbook updated : consistent look/feel across product, social, and education. 3–5 repeatable formats that drive high organic reach. +50–100% growth in organic sessions; rising branded search and direct traffic . Meaningful lift in AEO/SEO discovery (e.g., Reddit/YouTube/Quora mentions, tool pages, docs visibility) and content‑attributed signups . YouTube/Instagram/TikTok growth (subs and retention), with sustainable weekly cadence. Product education reduces time‑to‑value and support tickets ; improved activation for new users exposed to content. We’ll calibrate targets based on current baselines. You’ll propose and own the scorecard. What You’ll Bring 5–8+ years in content/creative roles for product‑led SaaS, dev/design tools, or adjacent creator‑centric brands. A portfolio that shows storytelling range : short‑form social, tutorials, case studies, and product narratives. Demonstrated creative direction across copy, visual, and motion; high taste level and strong craft standards. Systems builder : you’ve run editorial calendars, content ops, and cross‑functional production. Strong collaborator: can brief and manage creators, freelancers, and internal partners.
