Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Cybersecurity Engineer (DISP / Essential Eight ML2) based in Canberra/Melbourne, with flexibility for some work-from-home opportunities. The Cybersecurity Engineer will perform day‑to‑day tasks including implementing and managing cybersecurity measures, conducting vulnerability assessments, ensuring application security, and maintaining compliance with Essential Eight requirements. The role also involves collaboration with cross‑functional teams to secure systems and networks effectively. Qualifications Expertise in Application Security and Information Security Strong knowledge of Cybersecurity and Network Security Proven experience in conducting Vulnerability Assessments and developing security strategies Familiarity with the Essential Eight cybersecurity framework and DISP (Defence Industry Security Program) Strong problem‑solving abilities and analytical skills Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly desirable Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing on-site presence in Canberra with remote work capabilities #J-18808-Ljbffr
