About the role A General Assistant - Toolstore person is responsible for providing high level customer service to enhance the effective and efficient delivery of frontline class support. Your day-to-day activities will include but not limited to supporting students by contributing to a positive learning experience, general administration work, purchasing and organising tools, equipment and materials for students and staff. This position will carry out manual handling activities and will be required to work to a roster which will include evenings. About You You are a self-starter who is willing to be hands‑on to support learning outcomes and delivery in the classroom. You hold strong WHS ethics and have a willingness to learn skills associated with the role. Having demonstrated experience working within a trade environment, using a range of hand and power tools and able to conduct minor repairs and maintenance would be an advantage. Demonstrated experience working within a trade environment or related work areas. Demonstrated experience in all aspects of purchasing within a trade environment. Demonstrated experience in use of hand and power tools, and tool maintenance in a trade environment. Demonstrated ability to work as a team member or with limited supervision.
