Come, share your passion, and start your journey with us In a nutshell, you will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all the property's rooms, grounds, facilities, and common areas. Join us and become a Heartist®. Job Description Perform general maintenance and repairs in the hotel. Assist the Maintenance Manager with day‑to‑day maintenance requirements. Ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and service areas are in excellent working order. Carry out maintenance requirements and follow up as scheduled by the Property Management System (PMS). Assist in keeping up‑to‑date records on the repair and maintenance of plant and equipment. Conduct regular inspections of hotel equipment, machinery, and systems to identify potential issues. Ensure all tasks are performed with urgency and in the safest manner possible. Assist in managing third‑party contractors. Communicate effectively with hotel staff to address urgent maintenance concerns. Qualifications Excellent communication skills. Comfortable in a physical role, get‑up‑and‑go attitude with a strong eye for detail. Self‑motivated, punctual and reliable, with a proactive approach to work. Basic knowledge of general repair work or DIY. Competent in the use of basic computer programs. Workplace Health and Safety knowledge. Ability to accommodate flexibility with shifts, including weekends. Previous handyman/maintenance experience in a hotel or guest service environment preferred.
