The Regent Group is seeking an experienced and talented Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dingley Village, VIC. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development and optimization of our industry-leading pumping solutions. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work alongside our skilled employees and contribute to the continued growth and success of our companies. What you'll be doing Lead and support new products and components to meet customer requirements and industry standards. Create technical engineering documentation such as manuals, SOPs and risk assessments. Create Build of Materials and supporting documentation for Operations. Prepare design drawings using CAD (Solidworks) and Inventor. Hands on performance testing and analysis to validate designs and identify areas for improvement. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems with other components. Providing technical support to sales and operations. Staying up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies and regulations within the mechanical engineering and pumps industry. Contributing to the development of new tools, processes and best practices to enhance the efficiency and quality of our engineering operations. What we're looking for Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering (or a closely related discipline). Minimum of 2 years of mechanical engineering experience. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, design principles, and engineering analysis. Proven ability to manage projects and deliver outcomes within set timelines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated capability in problem-solving and applying innovative solutions. Willingness to get involved and be hands on with testing and trials. Comfortable in a fast pace manufacturing environment – on the floor. Ability to work with a diverse product offering.
