Position Details Employment Type: Permanent Full Time Position Classification: Health Mgr Lvl 6 Remuneration: $189,878 - $207,381 per annum Hours Per Week: 40 Requisition ID: REQ What You'll Be Doing The District Director is the senior operational manager for Mental Health, Alcohol, and Other Drugs (MHAOD) services across Northern NSW Local Health District. You are accountable for delivering high‑quality, efficient and effective MHAOD services, and for providing strategic and performance advice to the Chief Executive and Board on key matters. You will implement and coordinate new models of MHAOD services to improve health outcomes and patient experiences, and collaborate with primary and community care partners. The role includes day‑to‑day autonomy in directing, leading and managing all MHAOD services, allocating resources within the operational budget, and prioritising strategic and operational plans and projects. You will ensure that key performance indicators and benchmarks are met and that services are maintained in accordance with NSW Health and NNSWLHD priorities.
