Employment Type : Permanent Full Time Position Classification : Health Mgr Lvl 6 Remuneration : $189,878 - $207,381 per annum Hours Per Week : 40 Requisition ID : REQ What you’ll be doing Senior operational manager for Mental Health, Alcohol and Drug (MHAOD) Services across Northern NSW Local Health District (NNSWLHD). Accountable for the delivery of high‑quality, efficient and effective MHAOD services and for providing high‑level strategic and performance advice to the Chief Executive and Board on key matters. Responsible for implementing and coordinating new models of MHAOD services to improve health outcomes and patient experiences, and for collaborating with key system partners, particularly those delivering primary and community care. Direct, lead and manage all MHAOD services, including deploying resources within the overall operational budget and strategic priorities for the LHD. As part of the strategic leadership team, determine organisation‑wide MHAOD strategic direction and prioritise strategic and operational plans and projects. Lead complex change management challenges as part of operational delivery and implement key initiatives in accordance with NSW Health and NNSWLHD priorities, ensuring that health service provision Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and benchmarks are met. Overall decision‑making and accountability limits are determined in conjunction with the Chief Executive; the role is a Tier 2 position reporting directly to the Chief Executive.
