We’re currently looking for a talented and enthusiastic Cook to join our kitchen team. This is your chance to bring your culinary skills to the coast and be part of a vibrant, welcoming crew. In this role, you’ll prepare and present high‑quality meals using fresh, local ingredients, help maintain a clean and safe kitchen, and support smooth service during busy periods. If you thrive in a fast‑paced environment and love working with food, this could be the perfect fit. This is a casual position, with the opportunity to pick up additional hours during peak seasons. Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve meals to a high standard, following menu guidelines and minimising waste. Manage stock efficiently; ordering, receiving, and rotating to ensure freshness and compliance with food safety standards. Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen and dining area, including equipment and surfaces. Work collaboratively with your team to create a positive and productive environment. Follow all WHS and food safety procedures, including audits, chemical handling, and accurate record‑keeping. About You Previous food safety training and a solid understanding of HACCP principles. Experience in food preparation and cooking, with strong communication and basic budgeting skills. A proactive, respectful team player who takes feedback well and contributes to a positive work culture. Ability to manage time effectively, stay calm under pressure, and maintain high standards. Comfortable with physical tasks such as lifting, standing for long periods, and using kitchen equipment safely with PPE. Ready to bring your skills to the coast and cook up something special?
