Cook - The Beach House Restaurant & Bar at Ingenia Communities Group We’re seeking a casual Cook to join The Beach House Restaurant & Bar in One Mile, New South Wales. This role offers extra hours during peak seasons or part time. Reporting to the Food & Beverage Supervisor, you’ll deliver high-quality meals using fresh, local ingredients, present dishes to a high standard, maintain a clean and safe kitchen, and support smooth service during busy periods. Overview Ingenia’s Beach House Restaurant & Bar provides a relaxed coastal vibe with a close-knit team. It’s a great environment for hospitality professionals who make guests feel at home. Responsibilities Prepare and serve meals to a high standard using fresh, local ingredients, while minimising waste and following menu guidelines. Order, receive, and rotate stock efficiently, ensuring quality control and compliance with food safety standards. Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen and dining area, including equipment, surfaces, and floors. Work respectfully and effectively with team members, contributing to a positive and productive work environment. Follow all WHS and food safety procedures, including audits, chemical handling, and accurate record-keeping. Qualifications Previous food safety training and a solid understanding of HACCP principles. Experience in food preparation and cooking, with strong communication and basic budgeting skills. Proactive, respectful team player who takes feedback well and contributes to a positive work environment. Ability to manage time effectively, stay responsive under pressure, and maintain high standards in all duties.
