Onsite Support Engineer

Location: Western Sydney Duration: 3-Month Initial Assignment Work Arrangement: 5 Days Onsite About the Role Green Light Worldwide is seeking an experienced Onsite Support Engineer to join our client’s team for a 3‑month initial engagement based onsite in Western Sydney. You will be responsible for providing Level 2 technical support to end users across Windows 11 environments, ensuring smooth operation of desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and Microsoft 365 applications, including Intune device management. The ideal candidate will be hands‑on, proactive, and able to deliver high‑quality customer service in a fast‑paced environment. Please note that this is only available for Australian Permanent Residents or Australian Citizens ONLY. Responsibilities Provide L1/L2 technical support for desktop, laptop, and peripheral devices running Windows 11. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues in person and via remote tools. Support and manage users within Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, Teams, and OneDrive. Administer Microsoft Intune for endpoint configuration, compliance, and mobile device management. Perform system builds, imaging, and deployment of new hardware. Support user account provisioning and access management via Active Directory / Azure AD. Maintain asset inventory, software licensing, and documentation of support activities. Escalate complex incidents to Level 3 or vendor support when required. Ensure all incidents and service requests are logged and tracked via the ITSM/ticketing system. Requirements Australian Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen ONLY 3+ years’ experience in Field Tech / IT Support roles in medium‑to‑large enterprise environments. Strong hands‑on experience with: Windows 10/11 administration and troubleshooting Microsoft 365 suite (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager for device management Active Directory / Azure AD user administration Familiarity with hardware deployment, imaging, and SOE builds. Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and customer service skills. Ability to work independently onsite with minimal supervision. Desirable Skills / Certifications Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate Experience with ServiceNow, Freshservice, or other ITSM tools Knowledge of SCCM, Autopilot, or PowerShell scripting Why Join Us Work with a collaborative IT operations team supporting a key enterprise client.
