Our vision is to be the place for sustainable living. We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic Planning Officers to join our Community Planning team. In these roles, you will provide advice and information on planning issues to a variety of stakeholders, including landowners, developers, Shire officers, ratepayers and residents. You will also ensure that professional standards are maintained and statutory compliance is achieved in the delivery of relevant planning schemes, policies and legislation. This is a rewarding role and an opportunity to contribute to and work in a supportive and collaborative environment. We are open to both full time and part time opportunities for the right applicants. A salary in the range of $87,925 to $100,444 (pro rata for part time) will be offered dependent on skills, ability and experience as well as a range of benefits including: generous superannuation benefits (up to 17%) flexible working arrangements and wellness days additional purchased leave options (up to 2 weeks) free entry to Shire aquatic facilities complimentary wellness initiatives including skin cancer screening, annual fluvaccinations, audiometric testing and ergonomic assessments professional development opportunities free parking.
