Join to apply for the Planning Officer role at NSW Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure The role Our Planning Officers assist with the implementation of specific planning projects with a focus on planning delivery and collaboration including with local councils, agencies and other key stakeholders in line with relevant Government and Department policies and objectives. Responsibilities Undertake planning tasks and allocated projects relating to housing initiatives, planning programs, research and analysis, collation and management of data and information to identify issues and suggest a range of options and solutions to support the delivery of state, regional and local planning objectives. Assist with the planning delivery and collaboration including with local councils, agencies and other key stakeholders in line with relevant Government and Department policies and objectives. Qualifications Demonstrated knowledge of relevant planning and environmental legislation and processes. Tertiary degree qualification in planning or other equivalent qualification. Willingness to travel and Class C Driver’s Licence (for regional positions). What’s in it for me?
