More at acmi.net.au About The Role Join ACMI's Programming team as our Program Coordinator, Film Programs and support the delivery of screenings and events in ACMI's cinemas which celebrate film, video, television and the moving image across the spectrum. The role provides administrative support across film programs, liaises with stakeholders to schedule Cinema spaces and collaborates with the Director of Community Engagement to develop, program and coordinate the First Nations Film Club. This is a full-time ongoing role reporting to the Senior Programmer, Film and Screen Industry. This position is designated for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people under s.12 Special Measures of the Equal Opportunity Act 2010. Only Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people are eligible to apply. What You'll Bring To The Role Experience in office management providing administrative and operational support to a team in a service industry or cultural organisation. Strong computer skills, experience using the Microsoft suite, Tessitura and EBMS, including the development, maintenance and review of office systems and procedures. Able to analyse issues and determine priorities in an environment of tight and competing deadlines, to take initiative, schedule own work, and work under limited direction. Familiar with conducting research and investigations, preparing reports and correspondence combined with strong organisational skills and the ability to coordinate tasks. Competent curating films, television and other screen content that reflects First Nations' histories and cultures which engage diverse audiences. Skilled in facilitating access for a wide range of community members to opportunities and pathways within cultural institutions and an ability to collaborate with First Nations colleagues and communities to elevate First Nations voices through film programming.
