Polish Speaking Social Volunteers (cuppa & a chat), Residential Care Caulfield Spread Joy, by joining our Volunteer Team The HammondCare Volunteer program is a great way for you to make a meaningful difference to the life of an older person, right here in Caulfield. We are seeking a Polish speaking volunteer to spend time with an elderly person in care at HammondCare Caulfield. Ideally you will be able to speak Polish fluently, be able to visit for a cuppa and a chat or weather permitting take a walk around the grounds together and stop at the onsite café. Your impact: Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated. HammondCare is an independent Christian charity and we're passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need. We have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of people cared for by HammondCare. HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.
