This pivotal role will define how customers, staff, and partners around the world experience and adopt Micromine’s suite of software products. As a senior leader within our Global Operations team, reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, you will shape and implement a comprehensive education strategy that empowers users, drives adoption, and supports business growth across the mining technology sector. A key focus of the role is developing extensible training frameworks that evolve alongside Micromine’s expanding product portfolio, ensuring they remain aligned with the strategic vision of both Micromine and the Weir Group Software Division. You’ll collaborate closely with global sales, product, and operations teams to deliver a world-class training ecosystem that meets the needs of diverse user groups—from customers and staff to students and future industry professionals. Key Responsibilities Define and execute Micromine’s global training and education strategy, aligning programs with business objectives and emerging software trends. Design scalable and effective education frameworks for customers, partners, tertiary institutions, and internal teams. Partner with operations, product, and sales teams globally to ensure training solutions enhance adoption, satisfaction, and performance. Establish global standards, policies, and processes for training delivery, ensuring quality and consistency across all regions. Enhance course design and content based on participant feedback and learning analytics. Leverage LMS platforms and digital learning technologies to optimise delivery and accessibility. Participate in product release programs to ensure training materials remain current and relevant to new features and updates. Provide regular reporting and strategic insights on training performance, trends, and future capability requirements. Represent Micromine and Weir Group Software at user groups, conferences, and industry events to promote education excellence. About You Demonstrated experience leading and developing high-performing training or education teams. Proven background in designing and delivering customer education programs within a software or SaaS environment. Ability to develop scalable learning strategies that drive measurable business outcomes and behavioural change. Experience with LMS platforms, digital learning tools, and SaaS-based training delivery. Skilled in program management, reporting, and quality assurance. Strong stakeholder engagement and partnership skills, with an ability to influence at all levels. Knowledge of mining processes and familiarity with Micromine’s product suite are desirable.
