With 90+ stores across Australia and New Zealand (and counting), we’re expanding fast—and we’re seeking an experienced Accountant to join our finance team in our Maroochydore, QLD office. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in the company's financial operations, contributing to the overall success of the business. Key Responsibilities Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements Assist in the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting Reconcile accounts and maintain detailed records to support financial transactions Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve financial issues Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and other financial planning activities Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations What We're Looking For Tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related field Proven years of experience in a similar financial accounting and reporting role Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and best practices Proficient in the use of financial software and spreadsheet applications Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure Effective communication and interpersonal skills Collaborative mindset and ability to work well in a team environment What We Offer Competitive salary and benefits program Generous personal and professional development opportunities A positive and inclusive company culture that values teamwork and innovation If you are an experienced Accountant who is passionate about contributing to the financial success of a growing retail business, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity with Skinkandy'.
