The company operates internationally from offices in Spain Germany, Italy, Netherlands, France, Poland, USA, Australia, United Kingdom, Panama, India and Southeast Asia. Job Description Role & Responsibilities Candidate shall be responsible for Solar Project Development, which shall include day‑to‑day liaison with various State Government Authorities for project related approvals. Approvals And Permits Planning, preparation, submission & getting various approvals / permits from concerned State Govt Authorities like State utility and state energy department. Working closely with the Project Development team, follow‑ups with Clients and Govt Authorities regarding Approvals and Permits for Projects and related documentation. Collecting, updating, and sharing state level market intelligence including competition with HO on regular basis. Co‑ordinate with state level Project Development teams and ensure all compliances are done on timely basis. Relationship and build repo with senior and key decision makers with state Govt officials is must along with policy and regulatory frameworks. Shall be driving and leading all Park/Project related Approvals and Permits on end‑to‑end basis. Land Acquisition Identification of suitable land, coordinating with local aggregators/farmers/Lawyers for TSR clearance, ATS/ATL, Lease deed/Sale Deed, Change of land use (NA) for timely start of construction and commissioning of Projects. Regular visits to the State Government officials needed especially Nodal Agencies, Transco, Discom, SLDC etc. Thorough understanding of regulatory and government compliances is needed in relation to Solar/Wind Projects/Parks. Coordinate with local aggregators working in Karnataka and other southern States of India. Shall be responsible for managing/ resolving ROWs and getting land related permits. Qualifications Educational Requirements B.E. or B. Tech. along with MBA from any reputed institute shall be preferred. Advanced degree or professional certifications in related fields. Experience Minimum 10 years of relevant & prior experience in Solar Project Development (Approvals and Permits related). Technical Expertise Shall have strong liaising skills at state level agencies and thorough understanding of policy and regulations. Understanding of relationship management with clients, Govt officials, interdepartmental communication, and other. Thorough understanding of the functioning of Solar Park Projects and O&M. Understanding of relationship management with clients, Govt officials, interdepartmental communication, and other (duplicate). Regular visits to project sites, Govt. departments like DISCOMs for streamline/resolution of JMR / permits/ approvals/ credit reports etc. Thorough understanding in land related laws and compliances for Solar Projects and Solar Park or RE Projects. Preferred Attributes Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, team members, and authorities. Experience with international solar projects and standards. Strong leadership and team management skills. Software skills – MS office (hands‑on), writing letters, understanding of sale deed and TSR related matters.
