Dudley Talking Therapies - Admin Volunteer Purpose of volunteering role: To support the Dudley Talking Therapies Admin Team at Cross Street Health Centre, DY1 1RN. This is a voluntary, unpaid role. Black Country Healthcare is a major provider of NHS mental health services for more than a million people across Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton. The organisation is rated Good by the Care Quality Commission. Responsibilities Printing Covering reception General administrative duties Supported by Training and Induction One‑to‑one volunteer support meetings Reference for future employment Support to learn new skills and gain experience Plan to meet volunteering goals Qualifications and Requirements Computer skills: competent in email, Microsoft Office and database use Organisational skills Reliability: consistent volunteer schedule Awareness of mental health, confidentiality and professional boundaries Live in the Black Country or Birmingham area, within reasonable travel distance to the site Volunteers must be over 18 years old Benefits Travel costs reimbursed Support for professional references Opportunities for further training Skill development and experience gain Values Caring – compassionate and kind support for all individuals Enabling – empowering confidence and authority for best outcomes Working Together – inclusive partnership within the community Integrity – transparency, honesty and respect in all actions Due to the nature of the work, some volunteering roles may be subject to a Standard or Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
