Overview Join the largest regional health service between Sydney and Melbourne. Albury Wodonga is situated at the foot of the Aussie Alps and on the banks of the mighty Murray River. Role Summary The Paediatrician will be a valued member of the Women's & Childrens division to undertake specialised & expert care in the field of Paediatrics. Whilst the provision of expert, professional care is paramount in Paediatric Services, there is also a strong focus on teaching, education & research. The role will work alongside medical, nursing & allied health staff in providing this paediatric medical expertise and care to the Albury Wodonga health paediatric patients. Qualifications & Experience A primary medical qualification registered or registrable with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Physicians including advanced training and specialist recognition as a Paediatrician. Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency. Meets the Credentialing and Scope of Practice requirements as defined by AWH, based on Department of Health’s Credentialing and Defining the Scope of Clinical Practice for Medical Practitioners in Victorian Health Services. Employment Type This is a fractional position – 13 hours per week.
