Paralegal Support Officer Victorian Department of Families, Fairness & Housing – Legal Services Branch invites entry‑level candidates to join the Statewide Child Protection Litigation Office’s paralegal team. Candidates should demonstrate initiative, enthusiasm, good judgement and strong written and oral communication skills. Responsibilities Provide supportive assistance with office processes including data entry and management of documentation in LEX, TRIM and other IT systems. Prepare matter‑management reports, process and follow up invoices. Answer queries, provide timely advice and follow up action as required, including redirecting incoming mail and queries. Assist paralegals and solicitors in child protection litigation, draft and prepare forms, documents, correspondence and other material for litigation. Qualifications • Bachelor of Laws or Juris Doctor and strong academic results.• Interest in a career in government.• Australian citizenship, permanent residency or valid work permit/visa.• Ability to complete national police check and misconduct screening.
