About the Role An opportunity exists for a highly motivated Cardiothoracic ANUM to lead a dedicated and professional team in our Perioperative/ Cardiothoracic Department. In this position you will be taking on a key leadership role. You will work closely with the Cardiac Coordinator in the efficient management of staff and resources within the unit ensuring achievement of excellence in care delivery in line with policies and procedures, best practice and legislative requirements. You will be mentoring and leading a passionate team of nurses alongside a supportive leadership team so this role will suit an individual driven to help others succeed. Apply advanced nursing practices in planning, implementing and evaluating care in accordance with National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards Provide leadership and direction to complement the strategic direction, operational processes, budget and business direction of the unit and hospital. Oversee the activities of the unit including management of KPI’s and Floor Coordinating. About You Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse. 3-4 years’ experience in a Cardiothoracic perioperative role Any clinical leadership experience or post-graduate specialty qualifications will be highly regarded, although not essential. Able to use critical thinking in decision making Management skills and experience Enjoys working in a high paced, busy unit and has an excellent work ethic with a team focus.
